Color Variation in Wood Products
Wood is the material of choice for cabinetry because of the rich character of its grain and color tone variations. The same wood species has different characteristics depending on where it comes from and the different minerals present in the ground while the tree grows. While we do our best to coordinate each wood component in your kitchen, the variance in the natural color and grain means that each piece (e.g. style, rail, panels, and molding) will respond differently to the finishing materialused. This is the beauty and nature of wood and is not considered a defect.
This warranty does not cover the natural aging or darkening of wood. This will occur over time when exposed to light. Allen's has no control over these factors and therefore does not warrant such changes in appearance.
Because wood is a natural product and is easily affected by moisture, Allen's is unable to warranty the hairline cracking that may appear in the joins of a painted wood product. This hairline is due to the natural cycle of movement caused by high moisture in the summer and dryness in the winter.
Allen's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair, or at our option, the replacement of manufacturing defects, within the warranty period.
This warranty requires the purchaser to exercise normal cabinet care. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damages causes by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, alteration or tampering. This warranty does not cover damage caused by, but not limited to, fire, excess heat or cold, flood or any other factors or facts of nature beyond the control of Allen's Mill.
This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.
